And she graduated!!

In December this princess graduated from college!  After spending the semester in Boston student teaching she came back home for graduation! I really really miss her. Needless to say we are very happy and very very proud parents.   It's a little bitter sweet.  She's our last one.  And our 13 1/2 year college journey as also ended!  But we're not that sad...that means that we are also done with college tuition!!   She's back in Boston  and this is girl is going to light the world on fire!!  💕

Another trip last fall , this time Boston

As soon as I got home from NY last November, I turned around and left for Boston, to visit the Princess. It was so nice to see her again.  I came in on Thursday and left on Sunday.  It was another short visit, but we sure packed a lot in! It was bitterly cold in Boston, in fact it was the coldest all year and they were setting records for low temperatures in the evening.  But that did not stop us from venturing out! On Friday she took me on a tour of her school and her classroom.  And as we were leaving I got to meet the teacher she is working with.  The school is so convenient,  just a short 15 minute walk from their apartment. We also explored Brookline a neighborhood that is just a few blocks from them.  It is full of wonderful restaurants and cute boutiques.  We found a knitting store and some wonderful children's stores.  It was so hard not to buy a bunch of things for the grand!! We stopped and had lunch, and thawed out!  Then we headed over to the Isabe

Happy New Year.. a little late

I've been meaning to write this post for awhile but I feel like I was so far behind I didn't know where to start. Well another year has come and gone.  I was doing pretty good on the posts and then the holidays happened! And then it seemed like such a big task to capture all that has happened.  I've decided I've postponed long enough so I am just going to blog and on days that I don't have anything to blog about I'll just back track. I am not going to make any resolutions or promises for the year, I know better.  But I will try hard to blog so that I can keep track of the projects that I am working on. I am doing the APQ UFO Challenge again.  I made great progress last year and it did help me stay focused. Here is what was accomplished last year.  I realized that some of the projects that I initially wanted to do at the beginning of the year maybe didn't seem to have the same importance as the year progressed and I am ok with that.  Six projects
