I was happily sewing at home the other day quilting on a baby quilt for an office mate. The sewing machine was humming, I had my quilting mo-jo and then all of sudden...
I looked down the needle was broken and stuck in the plate and my finger was bleeding. My first thought was... was there blood spilled on that snowy white sashing? And my next thought was... wow I just ran the needle in my finger. There is a first time for everything!
Well I bandaged my finger up, dug the remains of the needle out of the throat plate and continued on my way. Luckily my mo-jo came back and I was able to finish quilting and binding this lovely baby quilt. My office mates pieced it together and my job is usually to do the quilting and binding.
I also finished another Etsy order. These farms quilts are so popular. I wish I could get some orders for the jungle/zoo quilt and the planes/trains/car quit as well. I love her choice of the tye-dye green!
